    Zelda: Breath of the Wild flint: How to use it start a fire. Select your flint from your inventory and drop it on the ground next to a pile of wood (you can get that by chopping down trees). Next, hit the flint with any sort of metal weapon to start a fire. You can do anything to make fire. Use fire arrows, bomb arrows, fire rods, lightning, setting yourself on fire, fire weapons, if you have fire chu chu jelly, place em on the campfire and smack them to create a fire blast, etc. I have 300 hours in the game and only used flint twice.
